Many donors like to have an idea of where their money is going when they consider making a donation. We have listed below a chart of the services provided by the Center in a typical month. Therefore, you could decide you wanted to cover the cost of one ultrasound or ultrasounds for a month or a year. Or you could give so much a month, knowing that would cover the cost of a certain number of pregnancy tests, STD tests, or counseling sessions. We thought this might be a helpful tool so you could know how your money is being spent.

Because the Pregnancy Resource Center does not receive any state or government funds, it depends solely on donations from individuals, businesses and churches for the support of the Ministry. In order to remain completely autonomous, we believe God will provide through His people and through the scheduled fundraisers we have each year.

BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER
The Baby Bottle Campaign, which supports our ultrasound program usually takes place in conjunction with Sanctity of Life Sunday (around January 22 each year), Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day. However, it can be done at any time that is best for the church involved.

• Baby Bottles are decorated, and one is sent home with each family in the church, to be returned within two weeks filled with money (checks, currency or change). These funds are then counted by the church and given to the PRC, and a card is sent by the PRC to mothers or fathers being honored by the gifts. Gifts also may be given in memory of loved ones.
• A liaison is needed in each church to spearhead this each year.

ANNUAL BANQUET
Each year, we have a banquet with a special speaker, which highlights what the Lord has done through the ministry of the Pregnancy Resource Center during the past year. There are usually 400-500 in attendance, and one of the highlights of the evening is testimonies from clients whose lives have been touched by the Ministry.

• Hosts from each church are needed to fill the tables at this free event.
• There is no charge for the wonderful dinner and entertainment, but each attendee will be given an opportunity to give to the work of the Ministry before the evening is over with one-time gifts and monthly pledges.

WALK FOR LIFE
Each year, we have our annual Walk for Life.This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. All Walkers walk the same 2-mile course and raise money by asking for one-time donations. Most walkers raise at least $150 to get the free Walk for Life T-Shirt. The amount raised by this fundraiser is limited only by the number of sponsored walkers taking part. With more than 60 supporting churches, you can see the possibilities.

Volunteer help is needed and includes:

• Church liaisons to promote the Walk in each church.
• To help solicit businesses to underwrite the costs of the Walk.
• To help solicit restaurants for gifts for top walkers.
